David Miklos me pasa este texto de Xan Brooks, en The Guardian, con ocasión de los 30 años de Alien. Un párrafo:

But there is an argument that these films actually reflected wider concerns. There was a growing sense in the 70s that a range of environmental factors – be it pollution, pesticides, food additives, man-made cancers – meant that we were no longer in control of our bodies. That our sense of self can change, mutate and become monstrous.
